Do You Like To Sing? Register For Our Free Open House In January 2012
All over the globe, Sweet Adelines International choruses are joining together to teach the world to sing. Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to join Chisholm Trail Chorus every Thursday night in January at 6:45 p.m. at the Cultural Activities Center in Temple during our Global Open House. Each week we will introduce you to something new about our a cappella barbershop craft:
· January 5: Barbershop has hit television! Watch DVD performances of quartets and choruses that have performed on network shows such as The Sing Off. You’ll be invited to join us on the risers as we learn new music. · January 12: Lights, action! Watch past performances of Chisholm Trail Chorus at annual shows, as well as contest DVDs. Then join us on the risers. · January 19: Music education! This week, barbershop superstar Dale Syverson, director of international gold medal Rich-Tone Chorus, will be coaching us. Join us as we learn new skills to help us soar. New — see photos on our Facebook page! · January 26: Perform with us! We are always looking for energized singers. Join us on the risers and see if this is where you belong every Thursday night. Stay for rehearsal, fun, fellowship. |
